These are pictures of Jarett and his egg basket. We have 20 some chickens, 2 roosters and 4 guineas. Jarett collects most of the eggs and had to have a basket for the task. It took quite a while to find the perfect basket. But now he's off to collect eggs and torment chickens! If anyone would like some eggs, the boys would be more than happy to collect you some fresh for $1 a dozen. Jarett, having learned about a baker's dozen, may throw in # 13.
Miss Milkshake is sharing her pen with her new friends. She, being the diva she is, has no reservations bucking her roommates if not getting her way. While spending most of her day out in the yard, grazing, she is the leader of the roost at night. While away, the guineas are the dominating force. The boys are learning lots of interesting tidbits about our lovely creatures. There is always something going on. And if our animals are not enough, we have regular visits from our neighbors donkey, Dixie. She comes over and eats Milkshakes food out of the barn. I don't mind as long as she makes her 'deposits' at home. So far, so good.
Shiloh got a new dog house at Christmas. He spends his days outside and his nights inside. He still has to stay on the chain because he will not stay out of trouble. He is calming down, so maybe in time.
I will take 2 dozen eggs and tell little man that I love the plaid pj pants and his camo boxers - my boys would fit right in!!!
